I like to volunteer with CORE because I strongly believe in CORE’s Mission which is so closely tied to the health and well being of our community. CORE’s ability to increase access to services and programs that enhance the quality of life for so many Milwaukee residents in an equitable way is critical to the health of our City.
Every time I volunteer at CORE, I’m inspired by the staff and volunteers dedication to CORE’s mission. Seeing and working alongside them reminds me how each of us can make a difference in our community when we’re willing to invest our time and energy into impactful community organizations like CORE.

I am constantly inspired by the dedication and commitment of volunteers like Natanael Martinez, our Board Vice President, and the countless others who selflessly give their time and energy to support our mission.
At CORE El Centro, we understand the pressing challenges facing the Milwaukee community, from high rates of violence and sexual assault to language and legal barriers that further compound the difficulties faced by many of our clients. It is our unwavering belief in the importance of increasing access to essential services and programs in an equitable manner that drives our work each day.
Witnessing the passion and enthusiasm of our volunteers as they work tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of others reaffirms my belief in the power of community engagement. Together, we strive to create a healthier and more inclusive environment for all residents of Milwaukee, recognizing that each individual can create positive change when given the opportunity.
With the continued support and collaboration of volunteers like Natanael and the entire CORE El Centro team, I am confident that we can overcome challenges, foster resilience, and create a more vibrant and thriving community for all.
